This bill is LightWave Solar's electric bill, and it shows how solar pays! We have an 11 kilowatt system on our building. As you can see, we are charged for our use, but credited for all of the solar generation. The kilowatt-hours from the solar system are measured under TVA's GPP program, and we receive a premium for the solar electricity. Credits from previous months roll over, and if after 12 months, we have a credit, the utility will send us a check!
Depending on your electric bill and the size of the system, solar PV results in offset or eliminated electric costs, or even a cash reimbursement.
