LightWave has been installing battery systems since our start in 2006, as solar and storage are often paired. We have performed training, installation, and service on a variety of BESS architectures, including flooded-lead acid, sealed-lead acid, nickel iron, nickel metal hydride, lithium ion, lithium iron phosphate, and lithium NMC.
We provide BESS options for residential, commercial, and utility-scale projects, having designed and installed over 700 battery systems totaling over 10MWh of grid-connected storage. These systems include a variety of BESS manufacturers, including Tesla, Sol-Ark, Lion, Elm Micro-grid, and Franklin WH.
Our field service team has developed lock-out/ tag-out procedures for commissioning Sungrow BESS/ inverter units and has Sungrow Power Titan 1.0 and 2.0 certifications. We have commissioned and trained around (3) Sungrow BESS sites, each at 143MWh, including battery module swaps and coolant system service. We have a service team dedicated to Sungrow BESS and solar inverters, including performing ongoing field hardware updates for the manufacturer.
