The Lightwave Way: What to Expect In Our Consultation Process

Taking that first step towards solar and battery storage can be exciting for those looking to take charge of their energy future with their home, business, or organization. Everyone’s reason and want for solar and/or battery storage is different. Maybe you want to eliminate the stress of power outages, lower your electric bill, increase the value of your home, live a more sustainable lifestyle, or just curious if your space is even right for solar and batteries.

Whatever your reason, it doesn’t hurt to take advantage of a free consultation. This way you can ensure to get a proper estimate whether you choose to make the switch to solar and/or batteries now or in the future.

Here’s what to expect during a consultation process with Lightwave:

First, you schedule a consultation on our website. This allows you to choose the best day and time that works for your schedule for one of our project consultants to reach out to you via phone call. During the call they will ask you the three most valuable questions we ask everyone:

1. How much energy do you need?
2. How much space do you have available?
3. What is your budget?

Solar is not one size fits all, so by asking these questions will ensure if solar and/or storage is right for you. After a phone call with our team, they will prepare initial design options and budgetary pricing for your review. These designs typically have three different size options: small, medium and large. This way you have a few different options depending on your budget.

If one or more of those options are of interest to you, then you move onto the next step - Site Survey and Drone Based design!

Second, our team schedules a day and time to come out and survey your space. Through this process they will capture drone images and develop a 3D model of your space with accurate measurements and shading analysis for our design team to draw up a detailed and custom solar design.

Third, once a custom design is created and agreed upon by you and your project consultant, our team develops a detailed contract for your project and delivers it to you for your review.

Lastly, once that contract is signed your solar project journey officially begins! (And our team does a little happy dance!)

Like we stated above, this consultation process is entirely free, from the phone call, to site survey, to a custom design and estimate. This way you can have a proper cost estimate whether you choose to get a solar and/or battery system now or in the future.
